Looking from the outside
I had awakened to a warm afternoon and the realisation had hit me... i had slept a good part of the day away... i guess it serves me right for staying up all night and doing nothing but watch DVDs and drink soda! but hey who really cares, so i shrugged off the feeling of sleepness and headed for a nice cold shower (because the heat in Penang is terrible, you could fry an egg on my marble floor). the cold liquid needles hit the spot just right and instantly i was ready to face what was left of the day, but i was faced with one problem...exactly what the hell am i supposed to do?! well it is quite sad if you think about it; a 19 year old guy with his whole life a head of him and he can't seem to find one single, most interesting thing to do that is not related to telelvision or the internet. So what do i do you might ask? well i did what anybody did...i headed for the fridge (thank god there was one more can of coke left in the fridge) and i searched for the remote and watched Lions...in the jungle, doing things that lions do. well that instantly got me bored again, so i headed for my computer in hopes that it can satisfy this hunger for entertainment. As the computer turned on and the flash of pixels seem to create a sizzling sound in the air around my room, i just sat. i moved the mouse to the doorway and entered the world of cyberspace where i was greated by Spam in my e-mail that means totally nothing to me at all ( like i want to get pills for Penis enlargements... those people
suddenly i remembered i had an errand i had to do. My dad had asked me to photocopy some papers for him ( i became his at home secretary to a certain extent...long story). so i got into the hot metal oven called my car and drove to the this shop some where near USM and had them printed out. then i decided to just sit in my car and just watch everyone doing there thing. it's amazing to see everyone going about carrying on with there lives... like a national geographic documentary on the mundane human life. Day after day of nothing, just pure nothing. however its' interesting because you can almost guess their story, i mean everybody has a story to tell. Everyone from the lonely girl with the books on her lap just staring at the cars passing by while waiting for the bus that never seems to be on time, or the trendy over dressed guy talking on his phone in another language but you know by the tone of his voice its something serious. Its interesting sometimes when you just disconnect and observe, you find that you are living in a huge dramtically ironic play set on the stage of the world where God and the angels are the audience. It makes you stop to wonder what the reviews are going to be like...
