Rainy days and the wonders of it

Ladies and gentlemen finally a rainy day after a great many days of blistering hot sunny days in Penang... quite honestly i enjoy it that way cause it gives that nice cooling sensation where you feel like you could just sleep tyhe night away.
today had spent most of the time just learning arabic, a simple yet interesting language ( a thing i'm into now...learning new languages) basically i am planning to learn as many languages as i could possibly learn in a life time... sort of a positive addiction ( yes Yeelin trying to find alternatives to smoking) next i'm thinking of learning Japanese, so i could finally understand those Japanese Anime without the subtitles, since i had always prefered watching them in there original language then the dubbed ones ( it tends to lose its mood when you watch it dubbed) , then probably move on to German or French ( always wanted to be able to speak those languages) and from there the sky is my limit.
Aside from that had finally managed to finish "summarizing" some chapters of Emma by Jane Austen but in my opinion the way the lecturer wants to summarize it is by going line by line and rewritting them! YES, i know a very crappy way of learning English literature... actually last week during class actually had a full scale argument with the lecturer about her method of teaching, ( originally it started out as a soft spoken inquiry that seem to evolve into world war 3). All this happened during the lecture i might add so it was quite interesting in a sense because i could see people making bets on who would win the argument... it eventually stopped when a friend of mine whom was sitting next to me wrote in a note an quote " stopp lah she looks like she's about to cry..." . i stopped obviously and i could see that it made the lecturer feel like she'd won...crap.... really should have just banged the nail down hard and never stop until the wood split. i just really disagreed with her method. She basically expects a rewrite of the entire book and we barely discuss the book, i mean whats the bloody point! apparently she had taught this way for fourty years ( feel sorry for her previous students) a formula which apparently works (more like a bloody waste of my time).

the day gave way to the rainy night and i gave my best friend Cheryl a call... it was good to talk to her again. All the sweet memories flooded back and honestly it almost brought me to tears... its been six months since i had moved to Penang and left KL... i've made really good friends here but i wish i could also be there as well... sometimes feel like i'm missing out a part of my life story... oh well life goes on...

P.S. and Cheryl if your reading this i know i'm supposed to join your guys game on Gunbound like right now but this dang computer's Gunbound software seems to be screwed up and can't access it... sorry.... keep in touch :)
